About Me
I have been working in private households and education for the last eleven years.
I started my career in the childcare industry as an outdoor education instructor in 2015. I've spent hundreds of hours inspiring children through nature and the world around us. I hold qualifications in sports coaching, English teaching and understanding autism.
I work as a male nanny in a number of different ways. From working as a holiday nanny and proxy parent, to supporting children who are going through a difficult period of time.
Why am I a male nanny?
While working as an outdoor education instructor, I could see how well children developed in my care over a week. I understood my value as a role model and I thought I could have more of an impact in a household environment. I wanted to see how much of a difference I could make over months or years rather than just a couple of days.
It's been nine years since I decided to work as a male nanny and I've had the privilege to work with amazing families in over 20 countries all around the world. The children I look after understand that I hold high expectations for them. And in return, I provide them with an environment where they can feel safe, happy and challenged.
